Wings

Awesome song, it reminds me of Paul McCartney “Mull of Kintyre”, of course in the middle eight instead of the pipes we have the backing vocal with a strong American-English accent :) Five Stars (Y)

Going west

Nice song, Trey. It has a wandering pace in its rhythm, and it portrays a sense of loneliness which I find appropriate for the theme you are interpreting. Good melody and chords transitions. I like it. Keep at it. Víctor

find it right

Quite touching melody, grateful & truly feeling about saying goodbye to a loved one. The choirs are so high that reminds me the sounds in a traditional aztec mexican ritual where the old and the young ladies tie flowers as a huge carpet. The purpose is to paint the path for the loved people that has past away.

yes

Rode Away From the Lady is a strictly Folk piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Folk style as I said everything recalls the Folk genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Folk piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

dont know what i shall say...but.....

its not my genre, and i dont have the lyrics, so its hard to tell something about. First of all, nice sound, good producting and very US. I prefer the darker sounds with sharp themes, and not so much feel good and everything is all right music, which has found his goal with this song. It sounds a bit countrylike for my ears. A Song for happy americans, or such how wants to be. As i said, it sounds so american....that is almost untopable. Nice and easy listening for times where is not much to think.

Riding Away

Thank you Trey Haltom, for a wonderful and poignant ballad. We all ride through our lives hoping fate will find us, of course it does, but do we really know when we find it? We like to think we will. Are we often so busy looking for more, that we fail to see what we have already. I like the traditional 'cowboy' ballad style, it compliments the whole ethos of the song. The harmonies are lovely and perfectly timed to fit the feel. Congratulations!

review of rode away from the lady

nice tune with good interance of instruments and vocals tune builds up to a very good upbeat dance tune that all will enjoy so take a little time to listen to the different strokes added to this tune and lend an ear to the sound this guy makes , kind of a cowboy tune and the harmony blends right ointo and fisty little tune. Don't push out the simple approach its reaLLY KIND OF CATCHY AND YOU WILL ENJOY IF YOU LIIN YOUR SELF TO LISTEN.

Hi

I was expecting something great..but turn out just so..so...the vocal is not so great.. and arrangement very bad.. it is a Good idea in Your song.. but it has be be " worked on"...see in today Music Bizz "Big People " are looking for something fantastic.. and They do not care about Your Story ( I wish They do )..so I do not think that AM / FM Radio Stations will "jump" on Your song or some Music Publisher..re record.. re arrange.. and pitch it to them...there is an Idea in Your song.. I wish You good luck..
