About TROY-B

Born and raised in a single parent household in Jamaica Queens, New York. TROY-B has always been a hard worker and committed to obtaining his life as the king he knows he is meant to be. As a child born in the 80s, TROY-B has always had a great love for sports and music. Before music, his first love was basketball, but after graduating from Springfield Gardens High School, the realities of life set in: Money is vital to survival. During this time, TROY-B's mother developed a serious illness and the family made a choice to move to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a more peaceful life. Even with the off-putting situations that had arisen, TROY-B maintained an optimistic outlook and stayed with his desire to be successful in sports. Unluckily, the plan set out did not go as designed and the need for money was a growing pressure. After realizing the realities of life, TROY-B survival instincts surfaced and TROY-B resorted to any forms of making money fast, including a life of crime. After years, TROY-B decided to put that life behind him and pursue something that would not only bring him money, but would bring him peace and become an outlet for self expression. With that, he found the production of music.

Even as a child, his preferred artists ranged from Michael Jackson to Tupac Shakur; from Notorious Big to Young Jeezy. With an aspiring singer for a mother, the passion for music and the ability to make it was innate. Although he was not given the gift to sing, TROY-B was given the ability to rap. After many experiences and much practice, putting together music began to come with ease. In time, TROY-B began to write his own music and, much later, he began to record his music. Finally, King Trizzy began to let people hear the art that he was creating.

How would TROY-B describe his sound? He sees himself as a person who “sounds like no one else in the music industry or anywhere else.” TROY-B prides himself on talking the fact that his music often discusses his own life and his experiences; things that people can relate to. He does not see making music as a dream, but as a goal, a passion, and a love. A future star is rising.
