Ty Andrews: Recording Artist, Singer/Songwriter, Designer and Producer

Ty Andrews (born February 15, 1975 in Panama City, Florida) is a music artist, singer/songwriter, designer, producer, leader and growth seeker. Ty explored at a very young age that music and art fed his soul when he began to play instruments in a small church founded by his father Rev. Eli Andrews, Sr.

During his adolescent years, Ty learned to play saxophone, joined a steel drum band, and also became a trained drum major/conductor. As a singer, Ty’s multi-octave tenor voice accommodates a diverse repertoire of music genres and audiences. With a soulful style infused with electronic, r&b, jazz and world influences, Ty has emerged into a well-rounded form of creative expression created to touch hearts and open minds.

He has performed internationally at special events, concerts and conferences with live bands, music teams, national youth/teen programs as well as opened for best-selling author/speakers Jean Houston, Les Brown and Iyanla Vanzant.

His debut “Letting Go” was a Bollywood style anthem song about freedom. This indie EP project included an eye-catching cinematic video as well as a tribute cover to his Native American Muscogee Creek heritage, “In Beauty May I Walk” by Karen Drucker. Ty's most recent work, “Space" topped the NumberOne Music (N1M) charts at #1 for Electro Lounge. It's one of his most personal works addressing his battle with depression and will be included on his upcoming album release. Outside of the recording studio, Ty serves as Co-Director for Sound of Light Choir Atlanta, an affliate group of the award-winning community Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta (SLCA).

With over 20 years experience working in the graphic arts and advertising industry as a designer and creative director, Ty kept with a passion to create, share and learn. In 2011 he founded an award-winning branding and design consulting service formerly known as Think Up. He is currently the CEO of Ty Andrews Productions and Think Up Tees online store. Both entrepreneurial endeavors were created with the intention to help vision-led businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs become purpose-driven communicators. Ty continues to provide creative support for corporations such as Georgia Lottery, BBDO, UPS, Walmart, Target as well as TV programs aired on WSB-TV, TV One and Fox.

Ty's mission to also serve youth continues to grow as co-founder of Conscious Kids Network (CKN), a children's publishing service for books, music and entertainment. CKN encourages youth to live empowered, happy lives. Ty continues to volunteer his time and talent as a teacher and performer for youth after school programs and teen camps.

Ty lives in Atlanta, GA and is married to award-winning author and spiritual leader Rev. Dr. David Ault. They were both recently featured on the cover of Science of Mind Magazine’s June 2016 LGBT Pride Issue.
