I grew up listening to that original Hip Hop. Now I really miss those days when music was fun and gave you an occasional lesson. Now the Hip Hop ERA is overshadowed by Rap. Men and women are doing the same dances. I'm sure the originators of Hip Hop, lost a lot of respect for the music. Our focus is to make a contribution towards bringing that real Hip Hop back to the streets, to give the pioneers something to appreciate.
I grew up living that hard life and having a jewel or two dropped on you by a MC went along way. For example: The 10 crack commandments written by Biggie under Bad Boy Ent., this song broke the game down as far as how to carry yourself in the streets. Not saying I approve of a lot of things that go on in the streets, but it is a fact there is a right way and wrong way to do everything. If you're gonna do anything, make sure you do it right.
We consider ourselves that next voice to the streets, so expect to hear real life situations constantly expressed in our music, also we have a high level of respect for the woman, the ladies can expect a different style of Hip Hop that appreciates women.
