i like this song, and i believe you will too.... this track is very surprising..... lots to hear, but its all "hearable".... if you like Snow Patrol or Interpol you will LOVE this !!!! as a matter of fact imagine Simon Posford of Shpongle producing Interpol or Snow Patrol, and you have a close approximation of this track.... impeccable musicianship here, knowing how much to "not play".... incredibly well mixed.... every nuance and background ambient sound, clearly audible and contributing to the feeling of "artist isolation"..... the pizzicato synth contrbuting to the sparse use of percussion, while the acoustic guitar lays a melancholy loop and the fretless bass pops in to confirm the uncertainty that lay ahead..... the vocals are perfect in their delivery, anxiety calmed by self-realization and acceptance.... this track is a must have for your playlist.....!!!!

review of 'Shone'
you can tell straight away when a track has been produced well and correctly and this is one of those. Beautifully recorded and mixed with excellent production, very professional sounding, obviously some money has been spent. A nice track, quirky and interesting. The sounds just wash over you and it's beautiful to listen to. Reminds of something between Snow Patrol and Badly Drawn Boy. A first class effort, this should be a hit straight away. Poppy and infinitely salable. Great job!

I love this track. It's so soothing. A good song to relax to after a long nice weekend. The song was over before I knew it. I enjoyed listening to it and look forward to hearing more great music from a very gifted artist.

This reminds me of some of the 80's music I used to listen to. Great voice quality and the music keeps things interesting as well. I like the way it's mixed. Nice balance. Not usually a style I listen to, but I like this.

Drums for the soul
I'll begin my review by stating this, these drums are alive. The syncopation along with the atmospheric tone of the vocals and other assundries instruments relaxes you whether you like it or not. I was cruising through the request for reviews and just randomly selected this song and was not disappointed. It seems like an introspective rain dance something like an acoustic Bjork mixed with tool lyrics.
