Hi everyone, I just added a song called "We Need More Guns?". I wrote this when another mass shooting ocurred a few months ago. It was just a personal attempt to digest what had happened and I was not planning to play that tune to anyone apart from family and close friends. The latest rampage in Florida sadly brought my mind back to the topic and the song.
I changed my mind and put it on N1M now. I'm still not foolish enough to believe that writing a song like that will make a big difference, but I'm open to debate whether it makes sense to write songs like that. So, let me know what you think about the whole topic... peace and love. unknowncrooner

Hi my friends, thank you for your continuing support!
I just added a new song, to make sure my site will not become boring to my "heavy users" ;-)
It is a song from a ukulele album that I was working on three years ago, but did not release as such.
I will include some of these songs in my upcoming album "Fool" and add some more "uku-tunes"
in the near future here on N1M.
As always, I hope you enjoy listening and kindly ask you for feedback.
Take care, peace

Hi everybody,
I noticed that a lot of people listen to several of my songs in a row, so I thought, I'll add one of my instrumental pieces to give you some chill-out-time between the lyrics;-)
I hope you like the tune and I'd be delighted if you gave me some feedback on it.
Light and peace...

Hi, I added the song "Spill" by audiodope, a project I launched with my buddy DJ Fredman in the late nineties. We mixed various electronic styles and noize with acoustic elements. Our songs were licensed to companies like Volkswagen or Swarowski, or used in films. We released two LPs and did a lot of remixes for other bands and musicians. For years we had our own monthly show at the Rockhouse Salzburg, we did DJ-sets with live-musicians and invited bands like Aphrodelics, Waxolutionists, Aromabar, Shantel ... to play with us. We had a great time and I have loads of exciting memories of this phase in our lives.
So, if you like the tune "Spill", just let me know, there´s more where this came from;-) Light and peace. unknowncrooner

Hi everyone,
People have been asking me for songs from my musical activities before unknowncrooner.
So I added a pretty old song from a solo album dating back to 1994.
My alter ego back then was "Captain Chaos", the album title: Push-Button-Magic(k).
So, here is the first sample, if you like it, I'll add more (beware: it´s a 17-piece-album;-))

Hi Folks!
Thanks so much once more for your continuing support. I had never thought that so many people would listen to my music in such a short period of time. So many plays, so many likes, and, what's most important: A lot of good and inspiring feedback.
My upcoming album has the (working-) tiltle "Fool" and will be finished at the end of 2017 (I guess). Well, it will take as much time as it will need... until I´m satisfied with it. But anyway, when a song gets to the final stages of mixing and mastering, I want to share it with you and hear your feedback. The album will contain songs that range from folk to pop to electronic music, an eclectic bunch of lively song-creatures, that are glued together by a certain - very personal, yet political message. What? Political? Well, I think that nowadays everything you do, don't do, say, consume, ignore... has a political message and impact. So, please let me know what you think about the first song "The Name Of Any God". Love and Peace! unknowncrooner

Yesterday I went to a concert by Thomas Dybdahl in the Rockhouse Salzburg.
I invited many of my friends, because I knew it was going to be a very special night.
Thomas Dybdahl has been a wonderful influence in my life since I first heard one
of his songs about 8 or 9 years ago. He has become my personal benchmark in
terms of songwriting and maybe he is also the reason why I am leaning more towards
the singer/songwriter-genre in the last years. So: If I could recommend only one artist to you,
it would be him. And yes... the concert was absolutely marvellous,we were witnessing a fragile and shy man turn into a stunning performer, as soon as he hit the stage, his seemingly natural habitat.
I´ve seen dozens of concerts there, but it has never been so quiet in the audience than yesterday evening. You could hear a pin drop.
He will play in Vienna tomorrow, so if any of you are in the area, be sure not to miss it!

Hi folks!
First, I´d like to thank you for your support! It really means a lot to me.
I'm still pretty new here at N1M and have recieved a very warm welcome and a lot of encouragement from you.
I just uploaded more songs from my album "Shone".
I hope you enjoy listening to them! I put a lot of time and energy into producing these songs, to make sure I will
not feel embarrassed when I listen to them in ten or fifteen years.
I try to give these compositions a somewhat contemporary sound, that will not sound dated in a few years, and
will hopefully sound like a "classic" in the future.
Thanks again, love and peace
