But when I reflect on the past 32 years of my life spent primarily making music alone and with many other amazing musicians since 1985, I start to realize how long and hard I've been working to hone my Musical Skills to the point where I can effectively realize the Ridiculously extreme heights of outer and inner peace I wish my music to convey! Yes indeedy, I have been pursuing this goal relentlessly since I switched from recording improvised instrumental works for the first 14 years of my "Career" (LOL) to carefully COMPOSING soundtracks beginning with the BONE TREE SOUNDTRACKS series commissioned for Dana Albany's Burning Man sound/art installation. So basically all my works as Voice of Eye/Asianova, Cruor, Darmstadt Pharmacy, Knight Shade, Nocturne, Scion, Silva Mind Kontrol, Smooth Quality Excrement, Terminus, Twin Blades and now DEATH OF THE WEST, Arabian Knightmares and (expired link). are all much earlier incarnations of me on my way to the goal of realizing my true goal in music... which is to make sounds that are so powerful they intoxicate you every time you hear them. That is why my label is called ENTHEOGENESIS (expired link) that will be the home for my latest releases! But many of my older and as of yet UNRELEASED works and collaborations will soon be available from Fantasy Records!(expired link)

These tracks that make up the 1st ARABIAN KNIGHTMARES album were created between 2001 and 2003 tp express empathy with the suffering happening in the Middle East to the Arabic Peoples...and I wrote at the time in the liner note for the "PREMONITION 911" single that I couldn't see how things were going to get anything but worse in the future...and sadly I was right. XEnophopia's lifeblood is mismanagement of world resources and power-based corruption and there's more than enough of that to go around, especially in that part of the world thanks to the long arm of "the West".
The events of 9/11 truly changed our perspective on EVERYTHING in the world.
We all had different ways of responding and coping with the tragic fate that had become us all collectively on that horrific day. It truly did signal the start of an ongoing international STATE OF EMERGENCY that has continued to rip this country apart ever since it's inception. That was when i had MY reaction to this travesty...That was when I really started composing music with a specific message in mind, And thus began ARABIAN KNIGHTMARES and it has been rocking this sleep of justice ever since.
The first track I completed was wholly channeled from this TRAUMA. "Premonition 9/11" came out as my 1st single on DRONE RECORDS in 2003. But the 1st track I ever composed for this project, Liberation through Martyrdom was out of my LOVE of Arabian culture and my great sadness at seeing it destroyed from the inside AND the outside simultaneously. It is a very cathartic work for me, and although it means little and solves nothing, I hope it is at the very least a cathartic listen for you. And so please listen to the new sampling of tracks from ARABIAN KNIGHTMARES 1st CD that i just uploaded and if you enjoy those tracks, odds are you'll love the rest of the album too. Just over 24 hours ago my Gothic Western band DEATH OF THE WEST finished it's first lil' show @ the fabulous STAR theatre in Pportland, Oregon...and wow....we got in the review as follows " DEATH OF THE WEST definitely opened up this CHROME kickoff tour right!" Cool, right? And so here's a clip of me and my band with guest performer JACQUIE UFO (from our dark ambient poetry project UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE OBJECTIFICATION) reading "LIFEBOOKS" by death in June! Oh...and guess what?! The 1st DEATH if the WEST album "the Hard Wants what the Hard wants" is going to be online 2MORROW! I'll share links here for everybody! Just a glimpse into the Entheogenesis Recording studio as eye lay down the 3rd guitar track for "Dark Tehranian Beauty Loosens Her Scarf". ARABIAN KNIGHT-DREAMS is one of FOUR different aesthetics in a new genre- I've created (to satisfy my own musical imagination LOL) called ARABIAN SPACE-FUZION. Each of these four sub-genres is meant to evoke a different reflection of the Muslim experience, and KNIGHT-DREAMS is the most life-affirming, the most optimistic and hopeful of all of them. And just what do all people of the Muslim faith dream of when they go to sleep? I would hope, PEACE...just like you and me, brother. Hello everyone! I am frankly overwhelmed by the response i've gotten hear on NM1 in the 3 weeks I've been here.. It has frankly encouraged me (expired link) up off my butt and (expired link) (expired link) been in progress since my last album "Arabian Knightmares" (limuted efition still available from Tesco (Germany)) way back in 2006' I spend often 40 hours a week or more fleshing out these soynd environments that often extend to over a half hour in length for one piece. And right now there is at least 8 hours worth of new arabian knightmares material I'm wrapping up as well as my new gothic western project DEATH OF THE WEST. And if you want to see my incredible live show The first Ure Thrall show in years will be in january 2017 at Star theatre in portland opening for the legendary CHROME with Helios Creed...my idol!!!
