About Uri Netanel

My name is Uri Netanel, I have a Masters degree in composition.
My works were performed in Belgium, Serbia, Georgia, (expired link) and Israel and were recorded by the Israeli Sinfonietta Beersheba, the First Readings Project (a-capella choir), Meitar Ensemble, the Tel Aviv Saxophone Quartet, the Carmel String Quartet, Guitarist Ruben Seroussi, Pianist Hagai Yodan and others.
Some of my works were broadcast on Israel's classical radio station.
I Participated in New Music on the Bayou Festival in Louisiana, the Osmose Festival in Brussels and the Sounds in the Desert Festival in Israel.
I Participated in the "Liberty-Otherness-Responsibility" project of Modalius Ensemble, my "African Story" was performed and recorded by the ensemble.
I Won a golden medal at the 5th World Art Games Festival in Belgrade for musical participation in the festival.
I Won a Laureate 1st Degree diploma for "Psalm 106" for three singers and string quartet at the International Musical Virtual Festival competition, 2020.
I play the 'cello and study Arabic Classical music.
Among my works are "Kaddish" for violin and ensemble and a song cycle to words by Yechiel Hazak for soprano and symphonic orchestra.
