UXU KALHUS can be defined as a fusion band (Folk-Rock-Jazz), with influences from all continents and styles (Chameleonic Sonorities) but with an assumed traditional root (Radical Trad); compositions and arrangements search inspiration in the folklore (Subversive FolK), reinventing a new language for the Ball and returning dances to the "Dance Floor" (Progressive Ball).

Malhão, Viras, Corridinhos, Círculos, Mazurcas, Chotiças, natural acoustic sounds combined with the power of the new technology and crazy harmonies are “Trade Mark” of the group.

Afro-Jazz-Rock-Ska-Classic influences are combined with the traditional Portuguese music and the result is an explosive and new Portuguese fusion style.
