What, No Slim Harpo?
Decidedly this is not a cover of the famous swamp blues tune by Slim Harpo-Well I’m a king bee babe, buzzin round your hive. It’s perhaps referring to the artist whose name begins with B. The tune sounded like a slow improvised jazz-tinged blues with 2 guitar solos overdubbed with different settings. The soloing were blues oriented pentatonic/pentatonic minor. One guitar distorted more than the other, perhaps some wah-wash. The jams were a bit diffuse. It sort of reminded me a little of a less composed, less orchestrated Frank Zappa piece-but Zappa would have had some outrageous funny memorable lyrics- and Frank’s phenomenal guitar skills. There was some talent evident. The riffing didn’t reach a level (of riffing) where I could detect what “well” the guitarist was drinking from. (In other words-What artists influenced the blues soloing). Overall good effort.

Val Belin King B
Val Belin looks like he lives in Brooklyn USA but has opened a blues club in Russia called "Jimi Hendrix". Anyway, this is professional, self penned, certainly not Slim Harpo, more Miles Davis circa his electric rock period with John McLaughlin on board. It is more blues structured than Miles's jazz rock, but has that supercool vibe. Vocals way down and part spoken, like I said with an accent which adds something somehow. Just needs some ethereal trumpet to blow the roof off the whole thing. An interesting and original take on the Blues. Check out his other stuff on NM1. He's prolific and well worth listening to.

Interpretation
An original approach to a popular "BLUES" standard... Though Blues have become so electric of late in performance... I think it has a way to go for electronic interpretation performances... But this is a Start Point and Grand example of interpretation.

Oddly Mysterious
This track is quite unique with a mysterious sound. The rhythms are odd, but it really works. Love the wha-wha guitar along with the groove. Vocals are interesting and pull this track together. Kinda Bluesy, kinda Jazz Fusion and would make a great movie soundtrack where some suspenseful action is happening. I can dig it!

Dope!
I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, I can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with some vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

King B Live
I feel the jazz-infused blue vibe. Lyrics simplistic enough for an audience to join in if they choose. (Cannot honestly say sing along. Closer to recite along with, but not necessarily a drawback in this case.) This leads me to believe the song was composed more for a live audience! Radio and modern day playlist would find eight and a half minutes way long, (They can't get as many ads in.) Therefore, enjoy performing and interacting with your audiences. Wish you much success! Tasty!
Love the grove coming from the bass and outer world feel in general from the song. Great vocal that falls right into the flow of the music. The mix and production are well done as well. Love the waw on the guitar. Verry tastefully done.

Good song
Really like the vocal on this song. Captures the old school vocal style. I think the song could have used a stronger intro and it would benefit hugely from a new drum take recorded on a live kit (it sounds like it's a virtual kit to me)... could use less lead guitar parts throughout as it takes away from the vocal in places and gets a bit confusing when it sounds like three different guitar parts all at once. Overall, a good job though!

King B - smokin'
Great ambience to this track - it'd be right at home on the "Angel Heart" soundtrack. The dissonance of the rythym guitar combinted with the bass groove seeps into your consciousness and makes you want another whisky on ice.
