Sounds amazing
Grabs you from the start and doesn't let go. Vanessa's voice is so smooth and inviting that the track just downloads onto your memory. Lovely bluesy shuffle swings ya hips and all the slide and harmonica melody keeps you stretching those arms. Feels so good, sounds even better. I especially love the drop at the end, as if she's telling me she's going for a bath.....nudge nudge :) hope to hear more of this talent. Bravo!

Havin' a Little Fun
So Vanessa has written a 'feelgood' song here, overall; not so much a good girl gone bad, but more an overly good girl fed up with her image, and the restraints it puts on her spirit. Like our Shania said, 'One thing about being a Woman, is the prerogative to have a little fun!' Vanessa's girl will probably be at work the next day, but will be smiling to herself.

Smart Vocals and Style
Very smart song. Crisp, clean, upbeat with a perk. Very smartly written in a 50's stylish way. Completely clean vocally without missing a beat. The harmonica takes you home. A lot of fun in this smart stylish song.

Feels so good is GOOD
Dear Vanessa, thank you so much for giving me the chance to review your beautiful song. The song reminds me the Canadian band Heart, I don´t know why but it is so. Very beautiful song, great voices and it has a great melancholic and sad feel inside the song, the song is very well produced, the sound is fantastic, very clear and compact, the voices are beautiful, they sound like angels, is that you? wow, very beautiful! I only wish to listen more of your music work and let me know as soon as you have new things produced, I wish you all the very best Vanessa, many greetings from Muenster, Germany, Papa Alfredo from King Mambo

Right out of the gate
I love songs where the singer jumps right in from the top. This world well here because it grabs your attention and holds it. I think the drums could come up a little, but they work ok because the hook is strong. The keyboard sounds good too. Good work great song.

Every step to musical thoughts deserves respect
Basically, the transport of thoughts with music is always a win, even if you can never inspire everyone. So it depends on the individual interpretation, the individual feeling of the songwriter and listener. For me, this song is one of the songs that do not inspire me, but are also not negative. That's why I value this song as a success. For me Soul has many sizes that are and remain unreachable. But I congratulate on this song and say keep it up !!!

Singer / Songwriter Vanessa Delaine is "One Voice, Touching Hearts"
We often think of songs that have a clarity and purpose as our body, mind, and emotions come to life through a song. We can take these three elements and make an amalgamation. However, we also often talk about a person’s soul and Vanessa Delaine sings with such feeling and emotion...… and the song "Feels So Good" draws us all in for a closer view, I give this lyrical masterpiece a 5 Star!!

bien
Me gusta bastante la canción aunque la melodía no tanto. Es divertida, tiene ritmo, la voz se escucha perfectamente y los instrumentos están perfectamente grabados. Me encanta la armónica, es un instrumento que uso mucho.

Feel So Good; Reviewed
When this song starts the lead vocals take straight off with an acoustic guitar and drums rim shot then comes harmonica electric guitar and then this song come into its own. It has the definate flavour and vibes of traditional country and western but lyrically it has a blues feel to the song. The instrumentation and musicianship sounds great, definately the sounds of professionalism in this recording. The vocals cut clear and crisp in the mix and are balanced just right with the other elements of the mix. This is a song that meets all the standards needed for it to be ready for distribution to the wider listening audience.

Feels so Good
Hello Vanessa...This is a great catchy tune and it grew on me very quickly. The more I hear it the more I like it. My option is you are a very accomplished singer with years of experience as it projects in your voice. I believe you have captured a really good commercial sound. The lyrics are well written, a light hearted theme with a touch of humour. The repetitiveness of the hook is well thought out and not over done. I like the idea of the hook matching the title of the song as in a lot of cases they don't. The instruments are well chosen with a good mix and not over played. In all there good songs and great songs... This I feel this is a great song... You are on a winner... Cheers Johnny Melbourne Australia.

A quiet irony
This song sounds enough easy and elegant, the rhythm is positive and the voice is clean. The mix is the idea of a positive job, where the same artists are funny makin' it. The accordion is very likely.

Nice upbeat delivery to start the day with. Vocals and arrangement confidently grooving in the country genre. Vanessa sounds like an authentic country artist. I’m wondering if she has toured outside Australia?

In MY Opinion
Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the harmonica work. Vocals are smooth and natural, But, for me they lack the Country or Blues twang. Vocals sound of a more contemporary to pop sound. Very modern/night club singer. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. Especially the backing music = country for sure. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny

Eric's Review
Hey Vanessa. This is a good song. Great hook... here's what I'm thinking: First, if I recorded this, I would sing the first lines a cappella, and when you bring the band in, hit it harder. You've got a strong (seemingly trained) voice and the tune is recorded very well but the range of sound - voice and backing - seems constrained to me. This tune could be a rocker, but I would lighten up on the vocal vibrato and use it only to make a point. I also feel you need to let go and really get into the essence of the song. No issues with starting the song with a soft touch, but to me it should build and build. If it really "feels so good", by the end of the tune you should be practically screaming that line. I would push your voice harder... maybe to the point of breaking, and I would add some really kicking/searing guitar lines to support/answer your lyrics. I have a feeling you are thinking of the chorus as starting with "cause it feels so good being up to no good", but to me that sounds like the "B" section, and your bridge "ooooo, feels so good" to me is actually not the bridge, but the chorus. I would bring that back again and power it right through the end of the song. Seems contradictory to me to thin out the backing of the song while you repeat the lines from the first verse. In my view you could continue to build - like after you sing the verse that ends with "feels so alive" after (what I believe to be) the chorus, I would go right back to "ooooo, feels so good" - and I would repeat that a couple (few) times building through the end. I don't have anything I've recorded that I can point to as an example, except possibly Silver Train. The song is actually outside my vocal range - which is really limited anyway, but I didn't care when I recorded it. The lead guitar is intended to make a statement. You might want to try something out of your comfort zone. Whatever the case, that's how I hear it. You can tell me to go jump in a lake, but I like this one. I think you've got some great raw material to work with here. Best of luck with it.

Unique Country Blues
Impressive country song influenced by blues music. The unique vocals from Vanessa Delaine underlaid with a gently hamond sound from the keys enriching the mood. The lyrics sounding like a story and the funny feel makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. But the whole song is more various. The introducing starts off with soft chords of an Fender Stratocaster. The accompanying harmonica is an extra factor and brings additionally beauty into the song. Great acoustic guitar sound and live played drums are fantastic arranged. I like the engaging beat of the drummer who brings more power into the song. The recording is definitely professional, very good mixed and perfect mastered. All instruments really stand out and increasing the tune. V. Delaine is a very talented songwriter and understand to give an account in words about someone or something, including all relevant characteristics, qualities, or events. I´m sure you will also like to add it. Let others know your recommedation.
