Hi again Frustrating thing last night,- I had worked two evenings with re recording from scratch SWEET DREAMS. Finally had finished intro and things, was about to continue, hit a key on my synthesizer and.....suddenly a short message appeared on the screen which stayed there for 4 seconds....and absolutely everything regarding SWEET DREAMS was deleted ! So have to start all over again. It is smart to turn frustrating things into positive things; I chose to look at it as practising. Now I do remember how I played it as I recently recorded drums and base ,- just have to do it again. LOL. 19th of December Hi Christmas approaching. I wish you all a wonderful Christmas ! Yesterday evening I started re recording SWEET DREAMS from scratch. The present version is not good as for tech. quality. Originally recorded by the use of a 4 track cassette recorder as explained before, and I do not think I will be able to use that recording as a base now when vocals and maybe even a video will be added and the song made complete. (Finally ha ha..) So I am struggling to find out how I did play it originally, as it has some (to me) complex drums and rhythm issues. But I have completed the intro, and seemingly I will manage to recall things and re record it the way I want it to be. 13th of December Hi I GIVE YOU MY LOVE I see that one of my songs which is played quite a bit is the one called "I give you my love". This song is supposed to fade into "The light is with you", and remixed version with new played and recorded "The light is with you" (not uplaoded yet) along with quire is one of my priorities to get finished. "The light is with you" is the kind of chorus being repeated again and again,- of the kind when audience wave their lights, cellphones and so on :) SWEET DREAMS Will also be given priority as for cleaning of tracks, remixing, added vocals and hopefully a video where my twin daughters Alexandra and Nerea (Nerea seen on the cover present for the time being) do the dancing. In addition to their jobs, they dance, do fashion and hair modeling when they have time and Alexandra is also competing within bikini fitness in international and national competitions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10th of December "Flåmsbana" is dedicated to the famous railway from little village of Flåm down by Aurlandsfjorden and up to Myrdal station located 800 m up in the mountains. My mother comes from a tiny little village called Undredal in the same region, which by the way is on World Heritage List. I go there almost every summer. The song was composed and recorded on 4 track cassette recorder around 20 years ago. And I just remixed it and mastered it on Tascam DP32 SD. I wish all of you a Merry Christmas !
