Much thx to all that listen. "Cop N Blow" is now playing on my page. Brace yourselves. This one may sting a little. But it not only is the contrast to songs like "Sunflower" but also gives an honest look in to the type of thinking that is involved with that lifestyle. I hope you enjoy. Hello World,
I'm far from new to rapping. Some might even consider me "outdated". But none of that bothers me. I'm not pursing fame, rhyming is just one of several things I love to do.
I was born in Fayetteville NC, where I first discovered my passion for Hip-Hop. That passion migrated with me when my Mother and siblings moved south to Atlanta in the early 90's. Music in the South was different then. NC was always a mix of music from everywhere. So while Atlanta was introducing me to Outkast and The Dungeon Family, NC was hitting me with everything else from the north, which is too many to name, to Midwestern artist like Twista. And all the West Coast rappers that achieved National stardom. So my influences are many. And everyone that studied in the craft of rhyming strived to be and sound different... That's the cloth I'm cut from.
I feel as though I have yet to live, but My life experiences have provided me with plenty of material in which to create something intended to move you. So, as I add songs to my play list I hope that the listener feels whatever it was I was feeling when I wrote that particular song.
Thx to N1M for creating a low maintenance platform for all of these gifted artists to share their Gifts with the world. I truly believe there is power in music. Its time we took back what we've created and use it.
