About Wendy Z. (a.k.a. Lady Lyric)

Wendy Z. was born in San Francisco, California and has lived in Northern California all of her life. She developed a love for music at a very young age and began pursuing singing and songwriting in high school. She has a sound and style of her own but, has been inspired by some of her favorite artists such as, Mary J Blige, Aaliyah, Teena Marie, Ericka Badu, Prince and Chaka Kahn, to name a few. It wasn't until 2008 that she found her fan base through social media and performing in local hip hop shows in the Bay Area under the stage name " Lady Lyric". She's since received recognition, as well as won competitions for her most popular tracks "Never Again", "A Dream",
and "Gottcha in my head".
