Welcome to April 2021
It seems as though some of the world is opening back up and concerts seem to be making a comeback. We are happy to see people embracing the love of music again and hope that things continue to get better in the future for all of us.
In a time of a pandemic, social unrest, extreme political differences and the numerous other hardships that people face daily. I believe music can heal the soul, calm the hatred or at the very least provide an escape from all of the bullsh!t that each of us face in our daily lives. Music to me is a mood changer a place I can escape to when I need a moment or two to myself. Music can get my adrenaline flowing to pick me up to do my job better or to get me through a workout. Music can make me feel sad, angry, happy, joyful and the list goes on. I hope music has the same effect on you and that when you need it you turn to music to fill your life with what is missing and bring you to that place you long to be.
Now onto our update on our music. T.W. and I are working on music. I have an albums worth of material ready to go. T.W. has written 2 songs that I know of so we are both looking forward to having that first sit down with our new music and discussing the possibilities. We do have a new drummer and a new rhythm guitarist. rummer who is still a very good friend of mine has done a lot of work with other bands, started a podcast and has started building custom drum kits. To say Johnny is busy is an understatement. I approached Johnny about the new music and the new cd and he wanted to be a part of this but also knew with all of his past endeavors and his prospects for the future he couldn't commit to us. We parted as friends and we will continue to be friends as Johnny and I are a lot alike. Ian left because he was already in 3 bands while working with Wicked Sins. Ian has always been a vocalist at heart and wanted to be taken seriously as a vocalist. So he is the front man of his own band and he is very happy where he is now. I don't blame him and I loved his voice so there is no surprise that he is doing what he is doing. He deserves to be a front man and staying with us wouldn't give him the opportunity to shine like he does now. So the new guys are working on the old music and have the first 3 demos to study just like T.W. and I are. When everyone gets up to speed and we get things going we will revamp all of the pictures and information on all of the bands websites to reintroduce the world to Wicked Sins
Last but not least. We are working very hard on new music and I am putting up drywall in my recording studio as often as I can. I will start to put up pictures of the studio as soon as I can and at least once a month send a newsletter out to all of you to keep you in the loop of what we are up to and when you can expect to hear something new. Until next time Thank you for checking us out, liking what we have created and hope to get back out playing again in front of everyone of you that would love to see the band and it's music performed live!
