New album is in it's infant stages. I record the songs myself and I demo them for my guys. I actually can play drums, bass, guitar and piano so I play all of the songs to the best of my ability and give them to the guys to learn and then they put their talents to work making what I gave them better. A song has to start somewhere and I'm not egotistical because I'll admit my guys are masters at what they do and my demos are a basic road map for them to listen to and be able to say, " Hey I can see where this song is going. Why don't we try this ?" So they have free reign with what I give them and it seems to work out for us. This is no longer the 80's where big budgets and time to play around in the studio comes into play. We work on everything and come together to create and get out as quickly as possible. So far the tracks I've demoed are : Skin - It's a sexy rock song that has a grinding drive to it Your Only Young Once - Also a little heavier tonally but the sentiment is have fun and live it up Screamin' All Night - Yeah this one is about sex and I kinda figure that's a gimmie Into Your Heart - Kinda Dokkenesque to me it's what it say If you would only let me into your heart Selfish In Love - Has a Down-N-Dirty type groove about a love gone bad I Am A Rockstar - This is arena rock heavy drums, solid bass screamin' guitars The Most Beautiful Girl In The World - This song asks how do you talk to a girl that is all that to you I have mapped out the new album to have 10 tracks so that means I have four more to demo before the goal is reached. I have enough material to do at least 3 albums worth so I will probably just demo them all why the studio is still under construction. Hopefully that is the update you've been waiting for! I hope to have all of this material finished before the end of the year and hit the road sometime after to support the release. TTYL, Dyer
