Of course great music is an important factor and good promotion as well. But the BIGGEST success producers are YOU the listener, because regardless of the promotion and quality , if no one streams , buys, comments and and tells others about the music it will lie dead on the lyric sheet and the vinyl that it was recorded on. YOU are the ones that make the artist successful. Ponder the impact and the snowball effect that would have, if just done for 30 days. The result would be over 90000 actions. Whether it be streams ,purchases, comments or recommendations it is easy to see that by just one small action by each listener the immense propulsion that would be created. If that small action were to continue for 12 months that would create 1,080,782 actions. And the resulting actions by those new fans added would propel the artist and the song into the area of great success. So as you can see, YOU are the ones who can make an artist find success and you listeners are the ones who make the greatest impact on the career of the artist and the success of the song.
