Thank you for all your deep felt messages. It has meant to so much to me to know that my music is so loved by so many. I am sorry I haven't been able to post new material to share with you, I think I must upgrade to add more tracks and as I am considering a whole new line up for my band, I must wait until there are funds for this.

Hello and thank you to you all for being there for me, supporting and encouraging. You really mean a great deal to me, so I want you to know that these next months. Summer is a time when people return to their home countries, which makes gigging in London more difficult. So I am planning some recording and am writing new material with Thomas. This extraordinary lady certainly has the quirky edge on most artists out there and is one not to be missed. Previously a principal with London City Ballet, Winnet commands the stage with her charism Born in 1960, Tasha/Winnet started ballet at the age of four, she then went to train at The Legat School of Russian Ballet and at eighteen joined her first professional company in Italy. On returning to England she landed a job with London City Ballet where she worked her way up to principal soloist. It was while in London City that she gained the nick name Winnet. On retiring from the ballet world Tasha moved onto acting. Here she met and married the actor Mark Sangster. They had a successful 19 year marriage and two children. From here she naturally moved into singing and writing and in 2006 formed her own band named after her nick name, 'Winnet'. As the years passed with her band her two children Thomas and Ava started to become more involved in their mother's music and now she shares the stage with Thomas on bass guitar, Ava on supporting vocals and Mark, her ex husband on drums. Coupled with her virtuoso musicians, Joe Volante and Barri Mason, Tasha and her family create a unique act that gives us a whole lot more than just one song after another.

This new female artist has been likened to Edith Piaf, Marlene Dietrich. ‘Genuinely joyous stuff’ that thrills London audiences wherever she plays. Her music has influences of jazz, folk and blues with an alluring French Continental feel. She now has an ongoing residency at Brasserie Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Bar.
