About WITCHTRAP

WITCHTRAP is an old school thrash metal band from Medellín - Colombia; the band started in early 1992 under the name "Dark Millennium", playing classic death metal, and in late 1993 they changed their style to old school thrash metal and the band's name turned to WITCHTRAP.
They have played in almost all the bigger metal festivals that have had place in Colombia such as: "Rock Al Parque Fest" in Bogotá, "Grita Rock Fest" in Manizales, "Altavoz Fest" in Medellín, among others. In addition, the band has played in different countries such as: Ecuador in several cities and they have made a tour on May 2012 around Chile, in 2013 WITCHTRAP visited USA by very first time and after this tour the band has come back to The States two more times in 2015 and 2017 this last year the band played in 29 cities from coast to coast as the past times they did it but as short tours; in 2014 the band visit Lima-Perú and once more a year later; in 2014 in Norway as part of the "Oslo World Music Festival" as headliner, in December 2016 the band visited by first time Mexico in tour from north to south of that country, in adition the band was included to the metal festival over the caribean seas in the "70.000 Tons of Metal Cruiser" last february 2017, and more to come in coming years.
