About Wormsley Common Gang
Our new album, "ANTHEMS FOR LEAVING HOME ep" will be available 10/21/06 Concieved in 2004, Wormsley Common Gang is the brain child of it's parents, Ace High and The Lockdown.
WCG was born in Duluth, MN in late 2004. They started out as a trio playing for 15-20 kids. After playing their asses off during the spring andsummer of 2005, the size of the crowds multiplied and the boys in Wormsley Common Gang found themselves playing for up to 200 people in a night. Much to the guys suprise, Duluth had caught on to the intensity that was spit on them from the stage above. WCG had a following.
And that says a lot considering the band had not released a proper album yet. In December of 2004, the band (then known as THE LOCKDOWN) recorded a four song demo which has come to be known as the "Teen Vandals EP", inspired by a monumental event that took place that year. It only took a Bush/Cheney campaign sign, a couple cans of spray paint to give the boys the slap in the face they needed. It only felt right to name the demo "Teen Vandals"
But the low quality recordings and the lack of musical maturity helped make sure that the disc wouldn't be anymore than the typical demo you see passed around at any high school. This disc featured
