Two New Singles Available Now In All Digital Retail Stores Worldwide
Greetings to all our fans and supporters!!!
We are so very excited to inform you that we have successfully released two singles, "You Move Me Baby" and "Blackman" both tracks are taken from our upcoming debut album scheduled to be released around end of summer this year (2017). However, while we labeled the releases as singles, you get to choose from four versions of each song, (the original mix, a straight instrumental mix, a radio/TV mix and a dub instrumental mix). So, in all actuality we have eight tracks available for digital purchase. As you can see we have been very busy in the studio creating music to share with you, our fans and music to make this world a better place by injecting our positive messages fused with a sweet reggae beat.
On another note, we would like to give you all a little insight about us and the formation of the Wurl Rootz Band... This is a lifelong dream of four childhood friends, (Collin, Trevor, Tappa and Craige). We met at Alpha Boys Home (an orphanage) in Kingston Jamaica where we grew up. Our journey from then to now was an extremely difficult one. As such, words cannot really capture the emotions that we are experiencing at this present moment. We held on to a dream against all odds and as faith would lead us... here we are realizing this dream that seemed so very far out of our reach.
We know that the journey ahead is not an easy one by any stretch of the imagination. Nonetheless, we are extremely encouraged by the way you all have embraced our music. Just knowing that people are out there loving the music that we create, gives us the added motivation to keep on pushing a bit harder.
So, with this being our very first newsletter to YOU, (our very first set of subscribers), our emotions are high. We are truly humbled and thankful for the opportunity to share our story and our music with you. We do not take your support of our music lightly. We know that this industry is an overcrowded one and you have many options and choices when it comes to music. As such, we are determined to stay true to who we are and to put forth positive and quality reggae music.
Oh, we almost forgot to inform you that our first single "You Move Me Baby" was accepted by Pandora Music. Can you believe it??? on our very first try... So yes!!! we are super excited about that as well.
