Besides what is on my page, I have a good 200 songs mastered plus 400 rap / poems. The music is Rap / dance / EDM / trip hop, but I can edit or add / subtract as needed. If I like what you're doing, money's not important up front. All my stuff is copywritten and published, but I hear the radio and it seems the same 4 guys make every song. At the tender age of nearly 15 years, I started a fanzine entitled "The Melting Pot" from my Graphic's Department and Dad's private home office. In a paragraph, that was literally the "Big Bang" 2 years before Nirvanva changed everything. The prime directive was a sort of chain letter, trading magazine advertisements, as well as recieveing calls (at my family home by now from the manager's of (expired link)., Ice Cube, Tool, Korn,Jay Bentley from Bad Religion and dozens of others. Fugazi, Tool, White Zombie's managers etc. were calling to offer 2 backstage passes and a 45 minute interview myself vs. The main songwriters. I postulate it's success waas my questions were coming from the viewpoint of peers and not PR types. It was a heady time.
To say they were shocked at my multi-coloured hair and youthful EXUBERANCE was the truest of understatements, which was quickly dispelled by self-reliance (thanks Emerson) and sheer knoweledge and professionalism.
After a 2 decade intermission of learning my writing, musicianship, and business acumen...I have unearthed a 2 inch folder I thought was lost to history, only to re-emerge when I (and to some degree the culture itself) is primed for a serious effort to continue. The original comcept was to send ANY content and I would merely create the master copies to my then readership of 75k. Currently I have 527,000 followers on all my different platforms, and am not only ceding sole editorial control, but also wish to inspire ways of promotion and direct and mass marketing only dreamed of pre-internet.

Why not take that smaller extra step into thoughts, ideas, poetry, photography, and silkscreen T-shirts and flyers AS WELL AS cyberspace?. I liken this to a hacker collective for the forces of positivity, education, and promotion of free expression as oppossed to chaos, flexing power, purely for profit or political sway.

My dream of fulfilling an online version of my 1990-1992 fanzine in which I interviewed Green Day, Rollins, White Zobie, The Ramones, and coultless more PLUS allowed all content (except hate or neo-nazi) to be once again...A True Melting Pot, just as our country is. Please feel fre to submite essays, poems, paintings, drawings...heck you decide. Band Profiles, Magazine profiles of whatever you have going on. I only ask if you wish to monetize it you keep it to 5$, but this is more about a grassroots community. Speaking of...I am certain all of you know 5-10 people youknow that can contribute to this so please forward this email to them. That way it will grow exponentialy. Hello everyone and thanks for taking an interest in my music and other content,
I am in the process of setting up a blog / E Zine called Phoenix Rising, which I hope any of the artists, poets, photographers, and writers will be interested in contributing content too, since I have 360,000 hard won email address of you fine people. Naturally my own poetry, essays, and music will be on the site under the record and management/publishing concern called Millennial Entertainment, I very much want the diversity of other bands, solo acts etc music-wise, and any other content you would like to reach that number every month. Also, by adding your followers to mine and pooling our resources, in no time we can have a million followers per month and rest assured past volumes will be listed as new fans join the party, they can always go back and start from the initial launch. While many bands and artists subscribe to the myth that we are all in competition with each other, by cross-referencing our respective fan bases, we grow stronger as individuals and as a co operative, united front. Not to mention established record labels will look closer at an entity with such diversity of genres, talent, and flexibility. Labels today want artists to arrive with their audience already established, stage show ironed out if not a tour or two under your belt, and master recordings in hand. The days of artist development from the label are in the past, Ne'er to return. Keep that in mind when you consider sending either a record, photos, a biography, etc., or allowing us to do an interview with you...the end result is exposure; the life's blood of any artistic endeavor. July 1 is the flagship 6 page online zine in which 2 of the best N1M artists of the moment will have a 1-1.5 page spread, and let's not forget an interview with our friends Green Day at the center to attract the most attention. A concerted effort including a massive push from 30 or more strategically placed SEO traffic operatives worldwide, thousands spent on Adwords a week prior to the EVENT, and of course, your word of mouth. Things are on track for G Force Media corp. to open it's doors on June 1 (with the help of 5 comrades). First off, many thanks to the positive messages and emails over the past year. Besides the opporunities to tour with established groups from Southern CA, it seems that Las Vegas has a demand for the trance breaks - meets effect laden guitar that is Europa sounds, as much or more than Europe. I am looking forward to meeting local area musicians in March, however....I have a brand new 20 song set of pre-recorded dance trax with a live guitar, mic, and keyboard. My name is Glenn Roberts aka Europa. I am founder of G Force Media. Briefly, my background consists of Mastering Engineer, Agent, Manager, Music Producer, Lyricist, and I own a web design frim called Calico-Tek among many other lucrative holdings....It should be evident that the major labels are content to bring 2000 era artists out over and over, and if you are lucky enough to get a break, chances are it is a one-hit wonder (such as Cage the Elephant, Come a little closer). With so much talent and that it is so diverse. I want to end the competition and form an alliance. By starting websites that cover the music and the scene rather than only your band, it all stands a better chance than more than your friends and family viewing it.
We are and have been in a new world. There will be no more U2's, Police, or Duran Duran's, etc. any longer. The only way to have a career in music or even entertainment is to join up as though we are the vast army of Persia under Xerxes against the 300. They got killed, it was a movie. The 300 are the majors and mainstream press. I got my start at 14 with a fanzine called The Melting Pot. I published all from 30 interviews ranging for Green Day to Bill Stevenson the drummer of ALL / Descendents, even major label acts such as White Zombie and Bad Religion. What I learned is there is no substitute for hard work and passion. If we ALL of US employ it, we cannot be stopped. First, you must have clear;lylr defined goals, and then execute them to essentially produce an act that will create a buzz. If not, perhaps music journalism or a myruiad of other careers is just as fulfilling.
My mission statement as if I were Jery McGuire, is to unite all these tiny tribes (if you will) into an army the size of Russia, China, and the USA combined. Both in capability and in population.
