About Yomek Radic
YAGGADI YOW!!!...This is the slang used by Reggae/Gospel Artiste/Producer, birth name Kemoy Rowe (expired link). RADIC; former lead singer/deejay and song writer of the popular Revolutionary Gospel group KATALYS CREW.
He was first called RADICAL due to his spiritual transformation when this transition caused him to change from being shy, to radical with a deep desire for positive change. however, he later discovered that another artiste was using that name, so to remain unique, it was changed from Radical to RADIC, an acronym which means Righteousness and Divinity in Christ. Growing up with a passion for music, at 8 years old he started playing the bass guitar in church which further develops his passion for music. After graduating from high school he relocated the corporate area to fulfil his dreams and enhance his career and musical desires.
Radic’s career has been influenced heavily by several top entertainers such as Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Buju Banton, Sanchez, Josey Whales, Morgan Heritage, Alton Ellis, Toots Hibbert, Papa San, Lt. Stitchie, Fred Hammond, Tye Tribbet, John Legend and Donnie McClurkin.
In 2001 after working with outreach ministry Gospel Storm he recorded two tracks "Pray Fi Dem" and "Cover Me" it was then that Cheryl Neufville discovered his talent and decided to launch his solo career on a higher level. Shortly afterwards, he was introduced to producer Paul Barclay after a stint at Denbigh 2001. After his introduction to by his former manager Cheryl Neufville, it was then that he decided to go pro.
He recorded his first track with Katsjam Records called “A Who”on the same rhythm as Bob Marley’s famed Rat Race, then Riding High, then the song Let Go Let God was also recorded in the persuit of his solo career.

Whether from everyday experience, life inspirations reading or based on a concept, Radic enjoys creating his own music. He also co-writes songs for other artistes such as Richie Stevens, George Nooks, Luciano and Mikey General.
Inspirational, culture, and social commentaries are his main musical topics. However, versatility allows him to maneuver skillfully through each and other genres as well.
Radic identifies his mission as an artiste to spread a positive undiluted message of hope, healing, inspiration and salvation to young and old creatively, using foremost the unique vehicle of 'Reggae Music' and other genres where necessary to expand and express his dynamism with the aim to cross borders.
Radic is quite an experience Performer, in 2002 Radic and an accapella group Five in harmony performed with top international gospel artistes Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin and Yolanda Adams as the only local artistes on their Hopeville (expired link) has also shared stage with other international entertainers such as Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley, Doug E. Fresh, Mutabaruka, Tarrus Riley, Sean Paul, Machel Mantano, Marcia Griffiths among many others.
The famous Apollo Theater in Manhattan has also been one of his performance venues with his previous group with which he also travelled to different regions of the caribbean.
He has done recordings with Dj Nicholas, St Mathew,Sherwin Gardener out of Trinidad, Veteran Singer Claudelle Clarke, Luciano, Mikey General, Clifford Henry, Christopher Martin and others. He is also the composer of the rhythm of the song "Serious Times" by Gyptian.
RADIC is currently working on his debut album titled ‘Roots Rock Radic', and Also an (expired link). of covers Entitled "You Covered Me" soon to be released which will include the Awesome hit, a cover originally done by Pastor Jenkins in which he also add his own lyrics for his uniqueness.
