The life and time of Dorrell Edwards has been one of perseverance and triumph over many obstacles. Throughout his childhood from the early age of 2, he was known for his musical talent among other things. It was not until the age of 19 that he first realized and embraced his passion for the genre of music acknowledged as rap, inspired by artists whom his aunt and uncle would play on their home radio noteably: Michael Jackson, Run DMC, Boyz II men, and many others that is when it became aparent that music was one of his reasons for living.

Growing up on the southside of Richmond, Virginia. He was plagued with many trials which life brought his way. Having never known his father, and being raised in a single parent home-by his mother; Miss Geneva Edwards who has been his support system ever since he was conceived. He became a success contrary to popular belief. Discovered by his choir director at the age of 10, he was offered an apprenticeship but his mother refused due to a deteriorating neighborhood
