About Young Vokal

Fedrice Isidore "Young VokaL" was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.  He began his music career at the age of 5 when he sang one of his favorite songs “Quand Je T’aime” at a soccer tournament final in the neighborhood that he lived in "Rue St Honore". Ever since then, music has been his number one priority. In 2005, he and his family moved to the (expired link) where he currently studies at Salem State University majoring in Public Relation and minoring in Marketing. In the world of music, he is known as Young Vokal. He has performed at various venues, such as the House of Blues, Symphony Hall, and the Massachusetts State House, and he has sang the National Anthem at Fenway Park and for Mayor Menino at a press conference. Throughout his journey in music, Young Vokal has performed with a variety of groups, such as the Boston Arts Academy Spirituals Ensemble, the Boston Arts Academy Concert Choir, and Kid N Play. He has received the Most Outstanding Vocalist Award for two years in a row at the Boston Arts Academy. Young Vokal has recently just released his latest single "Alright" featuring Pacman Payen, a song that consist of that old school 90's harmonies with a new modern instrumental in which the vocals smoothly rides through the verses.
