At first I was expecting something heavier as to what I normally listen to. This song has a Gin Blossoms/Tom Petty vibe. Also could cross over to Christian Market. As for mix, I would personally prefer more bass in the mix. It was almost non existent. The rest of mix levels are very good. Vocals are clear. Harmonies are good. Tempo is consistent, but it doesn't change much dynamically for me. I like songs personally, that have more of a build up and an explosion in the chorus. The lyrics are fine but could use a little more "indepthness" if that makes sense. Overall good track.

Great song overall. Excellent production and will appeal to fans of country, gospel and other styles. The lyrics are wonderful and performed well. They speak of a relationship and tie it into spiritual meaning. I believe both go hand in hand, and I feel the singer believes that, too. Life ties together. I'm not really liking the vocal improvisation about three minutes in. It's good, but doesn't seem to complement the rest of the song. I'd be curious to hear different arrangements of this for other styles. A rock version would be very interesting, for example, because I really think this could do well in other genres, too.

The solid guitars and percussion are sharp, and can create a hypnotic, rocking trance effect. There's not too much going on in the mix to detract from getting the vocal message across. The engineering is professional and well balanced, and I'd happily add this one to my drive-time playlist.

a little Tom Waits influence here with an interesting backing vocal track make this a very listenable song. Like all of their previous material, the music is very professionally performed with a very prominent snare placed on the two and four throughout the entire piece. if anything could be maybe changed a touch, the bass has to be made very prominent in the mix to compensate for computer speakers, but when played thru a system with any kind of fidelity it becomes the most prominent part of the music. Very listenable piece here indeed.

This is a very cool song. The feel is very laid back in a sort of Tom Petty sort of way. The rhythm section is solid all the way through with enough left open for the listeners to hear the vocals clearly. Your background vocals are a nice add to the overall sound of this piece. If I were to suggest anything, I would say if this was to be pitched to publishers, they would want your guitar part about halfway through the song cut in half. But, what the hell do they know? I really like this song. Keep them coming.

I am hard rock musician and I try witing review for country rock song. Song in globally is very very good. Song is perfect produced, every instrument and note is in the right place. Drums and bass is very good and balanced, background acoustic guitar is excellent. Lead vocal is very good (colour of voice and diction) and background female vocal is amazing (sorry for lead). Song is right proffessional.
