Conditionally Approved!

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song Zap and the Wires have a swiftly styled country song that lyrically is a treat to listen to a story that actually makes sense. Vocally, Zap blends his vocals perfectly with the music that is well produced, mixed and created for our radio waves. Here's to your success Zap! Make more music like this and we'll keep listening!

Hey Zap & The Wires, This is a great song. Excellent back beat and percussion and guitar instrumentals. You wrote true wisdom in these lyrics about “love being the foundation” of every wonderful life that is making a difference to make the world a better place while we are here. Your band is all about the reason to make great music with a worthwhile meaningful message. Did I also hear a fiddle in the mix? Your music warms the heart and heals the soul. This is my favourite song now of all your tracks. Very much a 5 Star effort!

Kind of a John Mellencamp Steve Earle on the more country side vibe. Love the slide. Vocals consistent and not pitchy. Great lyrics, make sense with a cool message. I wasn't crazy about the organ, not sure what I would replace it with except maybe piano or playing with the "leslie" a bit more to smooth it out. Overall a great more country than rock song.

Good Vibes!

I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, I can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with some vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

Here’s another interview for a cool listing band from zap and the wires. This song has a unique country rock song with hints of Garth brooks and Billy ray circus. Very good structure and arrangement pluse spot on tracking and producing. The musicianship is flawless and spot on. Love the whole feel of the song very well written. I review a bunch of there tracks and never was any song off that’ wasn’t spot on. So great job and have great success.

Helpful

Good song , I'm gonna start by saying I'm not an expert on country music, but this is good track, love the slide guitar, vocals are really good as well, easy on the ears. Might have been cool to have a vocal harmony on a part or two, but not needed, good sonics on the recording, lyrics good as well, Good song, good song writing, well played music, I like it and I'm a Heavy Metal guy.Hope it does you guys well. Peace, John.

partenza orecchiabile

Great feel and mix...you're really on to something here. Acoustic rock at its best. Be proud of the vocals and lyrics - they truly sell the song in all the best ways possible. Love the lead guitar...wonderfully balanced mix...give your engineer a hug and a slap on the back...:-)

Good song.

very good song, my congratulations. I like it a lot, you have a lot of talent. Thank you for sharing your music, your creativity and your talent. Keep going. Many blessings. Long live rock and roll.

Great song!

I am impressed with the lyrics and the recording is impressive. The instruments don't fight for recognition and are all distinct and not over powering. I as able to enjoy them and able to focus on the vocals at the same time. Vocal tone/tembre were dialed in and there is something to say about a nice deep country singer's voice. This song is very warm and expressive if that make sense. It is the kind of song great for a road trip, bbq's or just chilling out sitting back and relaxing. Overall a great performance! I look forward to hearing more!

Slide it on in

from the opening slide into the tune you get a nice feeling of where the song is going to take you. As it backs away to let the hammond carry the meat of the first verse, the song develops a nice platform to build from, and in true form, leaves room to add a nice light rhythm in the second verse. Again, Zap likes to keep the snare drum prominent in the mix, and maybe here it could have been a little lower to give the bass guitar a little more presence but over all a very nicely written and performed piece. One could see this sung by one of today's contemporary artists.

HUMAN CONDITION ! this could be a Tom Petty's song!!! Nice sound and arrangements. This is the demostration that classic rock still can be original . I appreciate the quality of production.

my thoughts

Thanks for sharing your song, Ya know I really like your band, your sound. Your songs ( writing) have a good feel as well. The band is rock solid. You can tell these guys are studio veterans. Rhythm section is in the pocket which is key to good recording. I know you've heard the saying " LESS IS MORE " when it comes to recording. Well, y'all nail it. Thanks again. Oh, I would of loved to heard some harmony on this song.

Human Condition review

You have been throwing some well written songs out here and this is a fine example of another one. Your track is very simple in its make up but allows the melody to flow easily from one section to the next. The singer approaches this song with a laid back style that works well and the use of the slide guitar adds just enough texture to keep ones ears perked up. Nicely done on this one so continue to write and record. You are a good writer.

First Let me tell I listened to your song, and I like it a lot, good mood, nice feeling, I feel fine after your song, I don't know but with female voices , it could be interesting, I like the sound of the guitars, the voice is warm, the drum could be a little bit more present.

This song reminds me of a laid-back condition. Music and words flowed pretty good I wish there was a little more higher range in the voice. Plus me as a guitar player I love to hear the lead so I was thinking maybe a little bit more lead would work. I do you like the intro. It is catchy the way the music is working for the song. I like the song and would recommend it for others.
