Catchy throwback to the rockpile

Song is very well written with a great hook and well done. By the time the first verse and refrain has gone by you are reminded of Nick Lowe and the Rock pile days. Perfect formula in songwriting, nice use of the Hook, guitar line was laid in perfectly not to distract from the song. In my playlist for sure

Touch

Hey Zap and The Wires, I enjoyed your song "Touch" so very much. Your sound is just as unique as McGuffey Lane Band who is another of my favourite Country Rock bands. These lyrics are so moving. The electric guitar instrumental compliments the whole feel and sentiments of the lyrics. I find it rare to hear such talent of a band on all scores musical composition, song writing and vocal talent and musicianship. This to date is my favourite song of all your tracks. The whole production is stunning in it's simplicity. That is why I have to give it a 5 Star Rating. Keep it up, you all have got the touch!

This band has got the "Touch"!!!!

This band never disappoints! And this song, "Touch" is no exception. Aside from its great subject matter and lyrics, which are superb, this band obviously records and mixes in a great studio, as all of their material is of very high quality! In this song, I especially enjoyed the Wha-wha guitar soloing! That added a special rock flavor to a true country rock blend of music, lyric, and feel. As usual, a five-star review and highly recommended!

What a 'Touch'

It could not be better than this! Lovely song crafted under a sensitive touch. Do I like It?! Yes! When you listen to it for the first time you have the feeling, the impression that you already know the sound 'cose it 'sounds' familiar. A 'Touch' of rocky sounds that can make the difference in the today indie music panorama. Lyrics are just immediate to receive, smooth as the sounds comes out from this lovely track. I would have liked to listen a more articulated solo guitar especially at the end of the track, besides the wha effect that gives some more sparkels recalling to old sounds. The audio file is accurate and nicely compressed. The band has something to say then and we all are waiting for the odeon response and the next song. Personally, I expect from them a nice rocky evolution that will mark positively their career in the music business. Best wishes.

Catchy Tune

This tune was very catchy very quickly, i ended up humming it for a good while after playing it. Recording quality is good too and obviously a lot of thought went into the production. It has an almost a "Thought Provoking" vibe to it too. I enjoyed this one a lot...i liked the "They stand in the corner in a gilded cage" line. Drums sound great, vocals are clear and guitars clean and with a lot of presence. What's not to like? Great work.

Good Song

The primary objective of musical analysis is to understand, as completely as possible, why a work is made "as it is made". That is, what the composer thought to create it, what materials he used, what shape he gave them, or what stylistic and functional characteristics conditioned it. Musical analysis is the way to understand music in all its dimensions, and it is also the gateway to composition, since the only way to really learn to compose is to assimilate the techniques and motivations of those who have preceded us. your song is very good, my congratulations. Keep making good music. Greetings.

Hot!!!

I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, I can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with the vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

Another Hit by Zap & The Wires

"Touch" is another success for Zap and The Wires. The hook is catchy, the melody is easy to follow and the overall song is consistent just like the others I've heard. This is definitely another hit for this band.

Touch Me More!

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song categorized as Rock, Country Rock and (???) Reggae - Zap delivers another ear worm favorite for the summertime. Well, really, any time. Always perfectly produced, clever lyrics and powerful vocals promise a sure fire indie radio hit. You make me want to be like Zap when I grow up! Excellent work, once again!

CLASSIC

Thanks for sharing your music with this site. It definitely adds to what is on here. The band is smoking hot on this tune. Especially the lead player. I love the way y'all use dynamics and punches in your songs. Proof you're a good, tight band. Most today dont even know about that aspect of playing or recording. Good job and THANKS again for the good music.

Touch review

This particular song starts out real strong with a very solid rhythm section and the vocals are very clear for the listeners ear. The harmonies are mixed nicely and work real well in the song. It's nice to hear a clear, simple wah wah pedal on your solo. Too often, it is sloppyed up with other effects as well. The length of the song is perfect for this genre as well. All in all, this is a well produced song that hits home. Keep up the good work!
