Song Reviews

country pop done well

very poppy opening lead to a twangy verse and chorus. cleanly played and arranged, its obvious that these guys are comfortable recording. A little bit of a Midland feel to the song construction, Not a single note seems to be out of place. The outgoing hook tends to turn itself into an ear-worm, which imo leads to a catchy memorable piece. From an engineers perspective the placement of each instrument in the mix is very well crafted, the guitar tones stand out at times with a nice heavy strum but not so much that they supersede the vocals and the underlying keyboard line, kind of a honkytonk hammondesque feel lays in the background perfectly till the last measure of the song, where it takes you out the door. Happy to see new material, very enjoyable.

Love It!!

What stopped me was the title alone, but then when I listen to it, I was very intrigued. The arrangement was very cool and I enjoyed every part of the song. I tend to like the songs you guys put out anyway. Keep up the good work as always. IF you guys have any music on any other streaming platforms, I would love to check out more of your music as well if you would not mind sharing that information with me. Great job!!!

Hey Zap & The Wires, I enjoy the imagery of this song. A great synergy between the percussion and the drums makes this song a fun to sing along song. I liked the addition of the sound of the last notes of the organ on the keyboard. It sounds like a song they must have been singing before that Storm Katrina hit. The words of the chorus is really quite clever in the meaning. Nicely executed! Definitely one of your best Zoppo Rich and The Wires.

Vibes!

I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, I can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with some vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

Catchy and memorable

The intro will really draw fans of this style. The vocals sound great. The harmonizing in the chorus is done very well. I like how the lyrics sound. Very relatable to a wide audience. The narrative makes it quite intriguing. I could definitely seeing this being a major hit if it gets the right exposure.

Hot!!

Hidden meanings are rarely important, when the music is profoundly exaggerating the current situation of the mind itself. Even though this can be also considered as a way of getting the job done by actually not expressing too many details of the message that has been precessed by the time of this review. Fundamentally broken thoughts, however, can lead to s state of nothingness and despair. The knight in shining armor rescuing the maiden in distress can be seen too obvious choice reflecting the hope for a divine interception or a final solution for the future?

Solid and Fun

Zap & The Wires' song, Saint Peter is a patriotic American song that has a solid beat and a fun way of sharing their point. The intro is strong and the story is easy to follow with a consistent beat and a commercial feel.

Saint Zap!

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song Zap and the Wires return with another great song. It's categorized as Reggae along with Country Rock and Rock. No Reggae here. But definitely a mainstream country rock station ready song for mass consumption. Perfectly blended in production, vocally masterful and, as always, the story compels you to listen to each word until the end. More - always - please from Zap!

my thoughts

Thanks for sharing your music with all of us. Once again in my opinion this one is off the charts. EXTREMELY well written. I can't find a weak spot in the lyrics. Your mixes are always really good. The intro is cool, is that Hammond in the background? Whatever it is, it sounds good. The vocals are out front where they always are on your stuff which simply means you can sing!! The band is Rockin, obviously they are studio tight. Great job and THANKS AGAIN !!
