Hi! Thank you for asking me to review your tune! The vocals are easy to take in and full of emotion. Very nice! A mellow, ballad sound that someone might put onto play when in a sweater and looking for a break and a cup of tea! Piano sound is very nice and seems this song was written on piano. This song is very catchy and has an edge to it , like a rock song you'd hear on the radio, I think it could climb even higher if you put a bridge into it that picked up the tempo for a time. Writing a country song in Lydian mode, with altered chords really takes a lot of courage. I am impressed with the chances Zap takes in putting a well-crafted tune like Jesse Has Her Reasons. A fine voice with the proper sincerity sells the song with honesty and passion. What's more, no drums to interfere with the heartfelt lyrics and odd key changes and harmonies. Well executed and a joy to listen to.

Though maybe the stereo delay subs for the lead vocals can only surprisingly appear in the fire and ice part and then be more in line with the piano or even string/melo room or even closer to the listener with very little subs. First, I enjoyed the piano intro. It sets the mood of this song... feels more like a ballad to me. The vocal is excellent... liked the modulation in the middle. Some songs go nowhere.. not this one.
