SINCE I LOST MY BABY
TRACK STARTS OFF WITH A NICE SWAMPY BLUES FEEL WITH SOME TASTY GUITAR RIFFS THEN THE VOCAL STYLE REMINDS ME OF A CROSS BETWEEN JIM MORRISSON AND JOEY RAMONE THIS IS THE BLUES AT ITS CORE WITH A GOOD FEEL TO IT AND I CAN IMAGINE THIS TRACK GOING OVER WELL IN A LIVE SITUATION WITH PLENTY OF BLUES LICKS TO KEEP EVERYONE GROOVING ALONG WOULD BE A GOOD ALBUM TRACK TO INCLUDE ON A RECORD

Rockabilly Joey Ramone!
First of all, I love the song. The groove kicks and your vocals remind me of Joey Ramone but to outlaw blues. My only critique involves the mix. I think an overal cut in the high highs (the "air" section) whether by sotish slope starting somewhere between 12 k and up (estimate). It isnt intolerable once everything kicks in but I can still hear it. That being said it does have a old vinyl sort of vibe. Awesome.

TW feel
Not your usually well polished product from Zap this time out of the gate. Not sure on the choice of Vocalist for this one, and the guitar tone on the backing almost intrusive "shred" behind the tune is less than the usually well done par. An over Zealous use of echo on said track does not assist in making it more palatable, nor does the ambitious use of the dive bomb, but art is presented by the artist. One may also wonder about the constant yodel out on the word baby Throughout the the song, but again, chalking it up to artistic license I will only say that its not my cup of tea.

Review of "Since I lost My Baby"
Cool Tune I like the intro and The Title "Since I lost my Baby" and the rockabilly feel of the song is unique ! It is a fairly long song at 4:40 but I think for this style of song that is fine Keep up the good work !!

They certainly are Hot Wired!
Not only do they have a very catchy name, which got my attention in the first place, the music is very catchy and grooving! Great swinging beats and melodic guitar solos. Like southern style rock with Elvis vocals. Perfect music for taking long drives too, has that feeling of nostalgia to it. Looking forward to hearing what else this band is capable of. They certainly live up to their name as you can feel the current flow through you as you listen!

She Gone !
I think u should go and find your baby - Go buy her some beer and blackberry brandy - though I a find Wine, whiskey and beer is a much better idea. Both Elvis and Beathoven would be proud but they can't see the TV if they are sitting on top of it.

Nice mix
Nice kind of mixed sounds and influences. Not sure where to put it if I would categorize it in anyway. Rockabilly kind of goes Elvis P or C? Anyway, sounds good from my kind of view. Keep it going!

Since I Lost My Baby review
I've written a few reviews for your songs so I'm feeling like I have a fairly good idea of your style and sound. I did see a great improvement with the last one I reviewed that you had taken into the studio. I would suggest you do the same for the rest of them, if you can. This particular song is a fine example of how you would benefit with a better recording. It's not that it's bad, it's just not what is considered 'radio ready' in production. As a writer, you have to always think of your songs as the last thing to represent your talent. Never leave anything wrong in a recording and say 'I'll fix it later'. And never show anything that you haven't made it as good as you possibly can. No one wants to hear it's a demo or a rough mix. Let them remember your great songs! So, between the track and lyrics, go over them again and make them the absolute best they can be!

Ambitious Genre Mash
The feel here is a bluesy with a repetitive riff and downbeat; Robert Gordon-ish rockabilly vocals and a long lead guitar solo throughout. I admire the mixing of all those ingredients into a progressive stretching way. I did hear a few other songs and heard flexible sounds on each as well. The question is how the general public will like it. Overall, the basics are done well and perhaps several magic formulas will arise. You never no.

VERY GOOD.
The same melody can be interpreted softly, melodiously, joyfully, raw, playful, and in many ways sung or played by an instrument. Think of a metal song, a children's song or a romantic song. Of course, this is not a purely compositional aspect, but we must take it into account as it influences notoriously. Thinking about how the melody should sound, even the timbre of it is a very important aspect. Very good song. My congratulations.

Nice
Nice guitar lead, I like the live sound and mix of drums. A little bit of a classic mix showing you've put in some dedicated work on your art. More artist should study the roots of their culture of art to be better at their own art. Keep up the good work and stay in the lab creating new material to stay fresh and on your toes. If you're ever looking for a hip hop collaboration hit me up I'm versatile. Peace!

Classic
This sounds like it was made with the best of them back in the 70s or 80’s classic rock scene. If this was made somewhat recently I’m very impressed with the authenticity of the classic sound you have. Either way whether it’s old or new I like it. Great song writing and execution of musical skills displayed. The solo is epic and the lead singer is on point with his style. I can’t think of the band or singer you remind me of but I know most of you reading this know who I’m thinking of. Anyway great job I love the song I’ll look for more of your music thanks and PEACE -DONATELLO

ZAP & The Wires ..Since I Lost My Baby
I think I want some of your Blackberry Brandy! like the track full and fun sounding the guitar work is interesting and clever loads of reverb and atmosphere. its an up to date 1950s 1960s sort of vibe with modern guitar and effects well disciplined bass and drums. well what can I say add this track to jiving round the kitchen play list and have fun. Zap and the wires did while recording this so press play and share the atmosphere. All the Best Stephen

Guitar sounds great
I think that the guitar in this track is really good, and I that with a better production value for the recording, this track could be a lot of fun. However, and this is just my personal opinion, I am not a fan of the vocals in this track. Maybe it's the style, or the delivery, but either way it's not the strongest contribution, and a singer in a band should highlight the rest of the group and this isn't the case, because I think the guitarist is a better candidate for taking the lead in this song.
