Song Reviews
A song so sweet you might have to see your dentist afterwards
As soon as I heard the opening strains of this cool little number, I knew I was going to love it. My most favourite period of music was the psychedelic era of the late 1960's, and Zap & The Wires have nailed that sound with 'Won't Let You Go.' From the drop of the needle, the full sound of the band fills your ears with a wild keyboard, fuzzy guitar and a pounding rhythm section that gets this hook filled tune off to a great start. Next, cue very strong vocals with very little effects on them, verses with great word-play, and a very strong chorus that leaves you humming long after the song is done. As you listen to this wondeful little ditty you can see the may pole, the paisley tie dyed shirts and feel the artistic freedom. This fast paced song wears it's love for the psychedelic sixties on it's groovy sleeves, and that's okay with me!

Really a fun song
Love how everything feels so organic, it's well sang and played. I think the song is fun and has a cool vibe, may I could recommend to work the guitars a little more in terms of soun and I also think that you can explore a little more with the keyboards, the bring in something different and I think that's cool. Cheers

Nice!
I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production,i can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with the vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

Perfect song
I absolutely loved this song and the style of music. I could not help but listen to it a few times over and over. Perfect performance on this one. I’ll be sharing it to some of my friends that I know will like it as much as I did. Thanks for uploading this one.

A Fun Rocky mix !!
This song is sort of classic rock, golden era type of musical piece, with a couple of interesting twists for those who listen a little bit closer: vocals echoe British rock styles of the 1990s, and the guitar sound s follow suit, with some verging-on-psychadelic sounding guitar and keyboard solos. So - not as simple classic rock as it seems at first... That being said the catchy tune and melodic lines make it easy on the ear and something that the average listener will begin to hum from the secong chorus more or less. All in all - an enjoyable rock song with touches that make it a bit more than just another rock standard thingy.

a little 60's?
a throwback to the two chord wonder tunes of the 60's, this little ditty combines the Kitschy chord changes of a long gone by era with some Elvis Costello inspired vocals to create an innocuous and infectious little tune that somehow forces you to start tapping your foot or nodding your head along to the beat. The Harmonies are laid in without getting in the way, the bass line does the job of keeping the music going and the guitar line stays true to the period, not too flashy with just enough involvement to keep it all going.

Hang On Tight!
One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song vocally sounds a little like Jon Bon Jovi - musically this a great blend of styles something our ears are craving more of. Well produced and performed, this is a summer favorite!

Very Strong Vocals
Hi Folks thank you for the invite to review your great track "Won't Let You Go"which i feel has got very strong vocals in my opinion and mixed well with great instrument playing and production, the song is strong enough for a single and album track and could attract Radio airplay which would enhance your chances to obtain a good record deal with a major company and also increase your royalty income which may i say is no bad thing,i wish you well in promoting this great song.

60s Beat
Sixties Beat sound is interesting. Can such a old school sound succeed? Yes, think of Amy Winehouse singing Motown. Therefor this old school songwriting fits perfectly. 'I am a little confused about the genre "Reggae", possibly happened accidentally with copying or so. Song is worked out well, mixing is ok. Performance also nothing negative to say. Old school or not. If you wanted 60s beat sound you have done a good job.

Nice Song.
This song reminds me the 60's sound, with a nice mixing of the different instruments and a good and equilibrated voice performance. Sound already like a classic. Very good work I deffinitly recommend a listen.

A Fine Song
There is nothing wrong with this number. I can't find fault with it. It has a positive, upbeat feel which is missing in a lot of music these days. Good length, too. Not too long, unlike a lot of the songs on Numberonemusic which leave me bored and wondering when it is going to end. But this is good. it reminds me of Graham Parker and the Rumour. This song should be played on the radio because it has broad appeal, which is what it is all about. Keep up the good work!

Bop review
This song is a cool track, what a feel of early rock very good sounding song.the a track reminds me if the 70s group the commitments and also the sound of Joe cocker.nice timely track. For commercial airplay. I love how the use of the Motown style is incorporated into the mix. All of the musicianship is very tight and locked into the groove.i hear a lot of old-time arrangements as well. I enjoyed listening to this track good luck to you. J bop

Laid back story-telling over smooth new country track.
I couldn't help thinking about 88 lines about 44 women by the Nails when I listened to Zap's cool story-telling on "Hot Wired". The lead singer has a good voice that projects and the track is competently played by the musicians.

Won't Let You Go review
Really like how you start this one off. It's really sharp and to the point and your vocal mix is right there. This has such a retro sort of '60's sound that really works well for many listeners today. Your guitar tracks are spot on and the steady bass line carries the song with the drums. Your song length is perfect for this style song as well. It's good to hear your music really starting to define your style and a definite direction that has commercial appeal. Keep it coming!

First Class
Really loved the opening and a perfect lead up to an explosive chorus. It jumps out and with the amazing drumming keeps everything rising and falling, rising and falling to create an incredible song atmosphere that has drama and feeling. First class vocals and the musical arrangement is outstanding. Zap & the Wires, I'm your newest fan!
