Want it Too

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song Zap goes from country to reggae and you'll love every note of it. I like artists who explore different genre's of creativity and Zap does this effortlessly with the myriad of offerings off of this project. Harmonization is on point. Musically, slow and methodical. Lyrically, fits the style of the song as well.

well..

it REALLY does sound like AMERICAN REGGAE...which is not a bad thing..i can hear a little of the country and western flavour in there too..lol....the Hornsman is BAD I must say!..the track could have been mixed a little better though..a few things peaking in there, they just need leveling out..but OVERALL it was a good effort, nice song...keep doing what ur doing guys!

music review

i think your sound is so original. but the vocals are in key but kind of bland. if i produced this record the second verse would have been in a higher key. and it could use a bit more excitement with the vocals. honestly i hear the potential in the arrangement. i say redo leads after the first and take up the vocals a notch to a higher more exciting pitch because the way it is i'm not blown away. Nice reggae song with lovely brass-parts.

Nice start of this reggae song. Love the saxophone intro and the brass later on. Production is good. Nice crisp and still with the needed lows in kick, although the bass could be a bit more in the mix, in my opinion. Surprizing start of the solo bit, followed by this little "battle"... love it. A bit of a sudden end ... which is niced. Left all alone ... so sad. All in all I like the song. Had a pleasant listen (speakers and through headphone). Will I remember it? Perhaps. Wish you success! cheers Ronn

Sit back and smile

Sad ending and great mix! Matches the story and every instrument sits nice in the song and was played along the words. Maybe a little bit to much effects on the lead vocals. Nice harmonies and wonderful sax arrangements! Thank you for this song! Much love

Country Reggae - Sad Story, Sad Song

This recording is a good combination of two very different genres. Really so different? Not really. Easy chord progression, easy vocal melody are common characteristics of these two genres. My first thought was, this is a very monotone song. But then I red the lyrics I saw that this is a sad song. So the songwriting and way of singing fits to the lyrics. The more for my ears reggae is quite monotone. The highlight is the counterpointing saxophone.

She's the One I want...

Love the musical arrangement and the vocals (including the backings). This track has the potential of the hit song "Rude" by Magic but it can use a bit more dynamics in the lead. I suggest you take a listen to the song I mentioned so you can get an idea of how you can make your lead more dynamic by adding more words so you can play with the flow. Your reggae riddim is sweet and laid back but when the singing follows that flow too much you get in danger of dragging ;-) You are on to something!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to more....

Enjoy with a beer

I loved the song, it is very fresh, it lifts your mood, it has a very beachy sound, I really liked the bronze arrangements. the song creates a very special atmosphere. good topic. ideal to enjoy with a beer watching the pair, with your feet in the sand, in a sunset. congratulations on your work. Hugs and blessings for the band from Chile.

She's The One I Want

This is quite good. The vocals are clear and with melody matching the mode of this groovy song. the composer has done a beautiful job with the Sax and gives it such an appeal. I would like you to harmonize the chorus, creating more body giving it an extra groove.|This is like a jazz-infused roots rock reggae vibe. Very busy rock and sway groovy piece. Don't take this creation lightly. This is a potential hit on our ears here. Fusing the solo pieces with instruments has really smashed it. I find myself listening to this song multiple times. Looking forward to this song doing very well.

Hi We look forward to the time when the Power of Love will replace the Love of Power. Then will our world know the blessings of peace.Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver. Those who love deeply never grow old; they may die of old age, but they die young.Good luck!

Beautifully arranged horns

Love the topic of this song as we all have things like that happen to us, very cool and mellow nicely paced. The music is solid and the vocals are great, the backing vocals really compliment however in reggae the vocals need to be a little more laid back but ut certainly does not take away from the song at all.
