As I write this it is March 1, always a good time for me. (It's also my birthday month.) Once again I must say THANK YOU to all of you who just made Bad Blood's original song "Old Man Trouble" #1 for Hard Rock in the United States, Florida and in the Top 20 for Hard Rock in the entire country.
Wow. You guys are terrific!
Bad Blood had a busy February. We got to perform at some very high-profile events.
On Feb 18 we opened the Beer, Bourbon, & BBQ Fest held at the picturesque Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa, FL. We had a sold out crowd of over 2,000 people who paid extra to attend the VIP portion of the event before it opened to the masses.
Then on Feb 24th we played at one of the preeminent venues in the entire Tampa/St Pete area: Jannus Live. We opened for Preacher Stone, who embodies the very definition of Southern Rock here in 2017. The audience literally came from all over. There were folks who had traveled across the country. I even met 2 blokes from England. The audience got a night of some high-energy original rock from 2 kick ass bands.

We just celebrated my favorite holiday here in the USA: Thanksgiving.
It helps me to focus on just how many blessings I have to be thankful for.
Among the ocean of things I am thankful for is YOU who have taken an interest in my music.

Here's what's new with me since the last time I checked in with you.
Of the many gigs we played recently one really stands out. On Nov 5 my band Bad Blood performed at the Deland Music Festival which hosted the 2016 SSA Music Awards (Songwriters Showcases of America). Bad Blood was a finalist in 4 of the 5 awards categories: Band of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Most Unique Style, and Musician of the Year, which was WON by our guitarist Chris Dox.

Hi again.
Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know we all survived the hurricanes (so far) down here in Florida this season.

While my band BAD BLOOD plays all Original music, we just did a cover of Deep Purple's "Demon's Eye" that I just posted for your enjoyment. We performed it live at (expired link) Roadhouse at a benefit show to aid the victims of human trafficking. This month we also played 'DaytonaPalooza' (in Daytona Beach FL). It was quite the event. About 100 bands, tons of street performers and vendors. Wonderful weather and a lot of fun.

We are performing at 'Hemp Fest' on Sunday Oct 16th. The event is promoting awareness for medical marijuana. While I no longer indulge, it seems a lot of people can be helped with it. They're expecting around 100,000 to show for that event. Should be Krazeeee!

I have the pleasure of introducing you to my newest band project. It's called BAD BLOOD. We play *Original* hard rock music inspired by the sounds of bands such as Deep Purple and Rainbow.
